For #1, I set out to run a 5 kilometer race , something that only a few months ago would have felt completely out of reach. I chose the Army Runn in September , and it was such a meaningful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and support, and it was incredibly moving to be part of an event that honours the women and men of the Canadian Armed Forces , who serve in so many ways at home and abroad.
