#25 Go Dogsledding
A Winter Dream Come True Going dogsledding has been on my list for as long as I can remember. It’s one of those classic Canadian winter experiences that always felt a little magical, and I loved adding it to my 40 Under 40 list as a way to give myself another reason to embrace winter, get outside, and try something completely new. And honestly, we couldn’t have gotten luckier with the day. After what felt like weeks of relentless cold, grey skies, and no sunshine, we arrived

Colorado: The Trip That Checked Off So Much of The List #8 #9 #11 #12 #13 #14 #19 #37
(40 Under 40 Highlights: Denver, the Rockies, Red Rocks, and everything in between) Some trips are fun. Some trips are memorable. And then there are the rare ones that feel like they belong in your life story forever. Colorado has always been that place for us. It’s breathtakingly beautiful, full of energy and charm, and somehow manages to feel wild and welcoming at the same time. We love Denver, we love the mountains, and my husband is a die hard Broncos fan, so its always o

#35 Get a Beauty Treatment I’ve Always Wanted
This week, I checked something new off The List and stepped into a little first for me. My first ever injectable, and a gentle introduction to Botox. I have always been curious about the lip flip, a quick and subtle treatment where a small amount of Botox relaxes the muscles around the upper lip, allowing it to softly roll outward. The goal is a slightly fuller looking smile and a more defined shape, without adding any filler. For me, it felt like a low commitment confidence

#33 Sound Bath and a Moment of Stillness
Crossed off #33 from my 40 Under 40 list and experienced a beautiful sound bath at a local yoga studio. This wasn’t my first sound bath, but it’s something I haven’t done in years, and I was reminded how powerful it can be. It is one of the few practices that truly helps me settle into deep meditation. When was the last time I took a full hour and a half completely to myself, just to slow down and breathe? Honestly, I couldn’t even tell you. That is exactly why I added this

#27 Take Three Art Workshops
Some items on my 40 Under 40 list feel like a stretch. This one felt like coming home. #27 was all about creativity, curiosity, and making time for art in a way I often don’t during everyday life. The goal was to take three different art workshops this year, each one introducing me to a new medium and a new challenge. As expected, I fell completely in love with the experience. Workshop One: Glassblowing Up first was glassblowing , something I have always been fascinated by

Checking off #1 on my #40 Under 40 list — run a 5km race! 🏃♀️✨
For #1, I set out to run a 5 kilometer race , something that only a few months ago would have felt completely out of reach. I chose the Army Runn in September , and it was such a meaningful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and support, and it was incredibly moving to be part of an event that honours the women and men of the Canadian Armed Forces , who serve in so many ways at home and abroad. Thank you for your service. What made this

#15 Get Floor Tickets to a Concert — Morgan Wallen in Edmonton
There are moments on my 40 Under 40 list that feel fun and light…and then there are moments that feel like an instant core memory . #15 — Get floor tickets to a concert was one of those. I’ve been to plenty of big shows, but I had never experienced a stadium concert from the floor — right in the energy, right in the crowd, right up close to the stage. And now that I have… I’m honestly not sure I can ever go back. Seeing Morgan Again — No Matter What It Took My sister and I

#38 Go Zip-lining — A Courage & Challenge Moment
Some items on my 40 Under 40 list feel exciting. Others feel… absolutely terrifying. This one was definitely the second. For #38 — Go Zip-lining , I stepped firmly outside my comfort zone and into my Courage & Challenge section — because I am genuinely afraid of heights. The kind of afraid where my hands and feet sweat standing one floor up in a mall. And yet, here we were. Just outside of Gatineau, we spent the day at Arbraska , a place that specializes in immersive aerial
